Mollie's Motel is a fun place to stay, a 15 min drive away. We have block-reserved a number of rooms at a fixed price of £130, just mention Alice/Meg Dobbie when booking over the phone.

Abingdon is also close-by with a Premier Inn, and other hotels and b&bs.

We'd highly recommend pre-booking taxis. Some recommended local firms are: Su's Taxi's, Royal Cars or if you're staying at Mollie's, Faringdon Cars.

There is also a local bus (X1) at the end of the village (Garford Turn, 20 min walk) to Abingdon and Oxford that runs once an hour. The timetable can be found here.

Oxford is about a 25 min drive away if you wanted to spend the weekend in the city, but please note that there is a congestion charge in the city centre.

What should I wear?

Stilettos not recommended! Dress for a garden party and please keep an eye on the forecast... It may get chilly later on.

Where can I park?

There will be parking on the village green next to Dairy Meadow Close, OX13 5PH. Follow signs.
